clunking noise from rear
after installing my h&r race springs on my illuminas (EK), there is a clunking sound from the rear when hitting a sharp bump. the nut on top of the strut assembly is tight. everything else was bolted down to proper torque specs. i have clearance for my rear sway bar and exhasut. i dont know what could be causing it.

yeah it could just be the coils rubbing when they are compressed.
there is a product out there (i dont know what it's called) but it's like a plastic strip that you wrap around the coils so when they rub it's plastic on plastic.

coils hitting each other = coil bind = not good
i don't think H&R would produce a spring that this happened too. most of the time this happens with heated or cut springs
