i just painted my headlights and taped off a portion of the turn signal area..just curous as to how everyone else did it!

anyone NOT tape off anything?

(doing it to a friends car soon and thinking of painting the whole chromed bezel and the orange reflector ALL gunmetal..any ideas?

do what ya like. but I haven't seen a set of DIY lights that actually looked remotely close to the JDM ones.

do any of you guys have problems with water getting into the headlights? i wanted to paint my head lights but im afraid of water leaking into the lights.

you seal it up when you're done with silicone. no leaks.

or just reuse the seal. it's been over a month and 0 leaks. just press them together real good.

DIY lights are for clearing your lights out or painting them... unless you get that gunmetal piece it wont look Gay-D-M but heres my 99-00 lights and how i did them.. quite simple actually
