Clock spring resetting?
i need to replace the clock spring on my car and dont want to spend $240 at the dealer. i found a used one on e-bay for $45 but i have read that when a used one is being installed that the clock spring must be reset or it will just break again. is this the proper method for resetting the clock spring?

Then rotate it counterclockwise (approximately two turns) until:
-The yellow gear tooth lines up with the alignment mark on the cover.
-The arrow mark on the cable reel points straight up
Install steering wheel and attach 3-P connector to the clip, connect horn, and cruise control swtiches , install airbag, connect reel6-P connector to SRS ma9in harness, then install hte knee bolster and dashboard lower cover.</TD></TR></TABLE>
and is there a more detailed procedure for resetting the clock spring??? i have searched with no luck
