Climate Control Help
'97 cx hatchback
My climate control is all messed up right now. I turn it up to 1,2,3, or 4 and there is a loud buzz coming from the glovebox/behind cup holder area. The buzz is so loud that it is louder than the radio all the way to full. Also i can feel a little bit of air coming out (little to nothing) but not much even when i crank it all the way to 4...What could be the problem? My car is getting all fogged up and when i turn the heater on it seems like nothing is working....Any help is appreciated.

Yeah, those chances are like 95%.
It's the blower motor, it's clogged up. Your car probably sat for awhile. Take it out, I don't know how it is on civics but on every other car I've pulled it on it's 3 bolts underneath the dash on the passenger side (behind the glove box, but the glove box doesn't need to be removed). Take out the 3 bolt/screws/nuts (whatever it is that holds it on), unplug it and pull it down, clean it out (there will be noticeable amounts of **** in there, usually a mouse's nest), slap it back in, and enjoy air.
I know what you're thinking: "is it really this easy? It sounds like there's a lawnmower inside my dash board" - Yeah, I know.

Go out to your car. Take everything out of your glovebox. Pinch the sides near the stopper pegs in, and your glovebox will drop. What you see behind there is the blower assembly.

w00t thx eran, I was just asking your girlfriend how to take out the glovebox
- I noticed it had to be taken out there's a bolt behind it to remove the middle trim piece, and I have to find the resistors for the blower motor to find out why 1/2 don't work but 3/4 do (fan speeds).

update---
i took out the blower motor and there was nothing in it, it was very clean. It blows and spins very well. Does anybody know what else could be the problem? Also i can hear the blower in the engine bay behind the intake manifold and it seems like something was unplugged...I dont know if that helps any...
