Default climate control help

yeah, i wanted amber lighting for my climate control (96-98). so i took out the bulbs, painted them, put them back in, pluged everything back in, and they dont light up.

no, the little wires on the bottom of the bulb are not covered in paint.

no, the bulbs arent bad

no, a fuse isnt blown

no, the dimmer switch isnt turned all the way down

i cant figure out why they wont light up..... they worked fine before i took em out.

anyone have any ideas?

Maybe the paint you used is thick as *****, causing no light to eminate from the bulb.

These bulbs can be tricky if your not familiar with them. When you put them in did you rotate them 90 degrees(clockwise).

What kind of car, cuz. You know believe it or not, if try disconnecting and reconnecting your harnesses, it will sometimes make it work. I know this sounds completely retarded. One day I did an odyssey trans., it threw a code for no sensor ouput shaft reading. Pulled it out and put it back and it worked. Sorry for such a long *** reply but it helps to double check.

Sorry cuz. One more thing, maybe the paint was actually thin enough to creep in between the bulb and plastic grommet. Sorry dude ur working with a pollock, here.
