Being that they are cable operated, this might be hard to do.

definitely, the cable would be at a very odd angle, and be very difficult to opperate.

A good place is mounting it above the rear-veiw mirror, or getting a jdm audio console and a double-din blockoff and flushing it into that.

i woudln't go thru all of that trouble JUST to put a damned vafc in its place, when you can see MUCH better gains using other tuning methods. I.E. hondata, crome(free), uberdata, neptune, AEM EMS, a'pexi Power fc

i think the cable hanging down would be distracting.

I moved mine down to the audio console for a while... but the cable had a strange bend so it was very hard to use the slider. You could probably make some modifications to the cable to make it work better, but I never bothered... and just ended up putting it back to stock.

What you do is make a bracket that will bolt on to the same bracket the rearview mirror bolts to, a-la JDM roof console:

Just make the bracket shorter, and of course, like an upside down "L". It can be made to look really professional. Basically, make an l-bracket that will fit over the bolts under that cap just like the one pictured above. Then angle downward, so you can see it when you look up.

For the wires, run them under the bracket you make, into that cap, and then under the headliner to the passenger side a-pillar. Then down the a-pillar, through the dash, under the ecu. Boomslang fabrication can make you a harness, just tell them approx how long you want it to be.
