I wouldn't take it to a shop, whos to say they don't have a remote that they to will sync with your alarm and then come steal your car?

When I first installed my stealth alarm(Viper 5002) and was programing the remote I messed up with some of the options and wanted to start over from scratch again and let it "re-learn" my car. I simply took the AAA battery out of the remote and put it back in. Try that.

happened from the battery from my car and the battery from my remote died after not driving it for a while and leaving the lights on for too long with engine off. so i guess because of this the alarm system reset itsself and the remote doesnt recognize the signal anymore. swapping the battery doesnt work, it was one of the first things i did. ive heard that ppl have been pulling out fuses to the alarm and putting them back work. but that wont really work for me cause i dont know where the fuses for the alarm are located. as for the code, my brain is not in visible sight is hidden behind the dash. so im not sure if that that'll make any difference but the valet switch can be reached easier.

so your saying i should disconnect the battery completely from the car and wait for 10 seconds? idont see how that would work though. my remote no longer recognizes the signal from the brain but i can give it a try i guess i dont have much choice. my last resort is to have a shop take a look at it. but that might involve some money and they might scam me.

everything electrical with a fuse should be run to a fuse box under the dash on the driver side. there should be a little door type thing you can pull off that says fuse box and on the inside there should be a diagram of which fuse is which
