Cleaning the engine up
When I searched : Engine Cleaner I didn't really get good results. (So don't screw me for not searching!) A few people said Simple Green, or Purple Power, but what is the best stuff to clean off things like valve cover and manifold, headers and other first- see things? Thanx!!!

Re: Cleaning the engine up (CivicEK321)
I use Castrol Super Clean myself Ive also heard of simple green too. Either or just grab one of them and go to town on that engine/bay and post your results. Hell maybe even scrub it a little and it might come out shiny lol

Re: Cleaning the engine up (96 EX)
purple power, engine brite, black magic. i'd say they all work pretty much the same. just spray and let it soak in for a bit, then rinse off with water and wait to dry before starting engine.
