Cleaning Block.
what would be the safest way to clean a block, still has pistons and ****, oil pan, all that but no header. i was thinking about powerwashing it. just cover up the holes.

Don't need to power wash it, just get the brake cleaner and clean off as much as you can with a hand scrub, then get simple grean to clean up any other left over dirt and grime on the block with a hand scrub again.
The block will come out nice and clean after your done with it
just make sure to tape up any oil/coolant/intake/exhaust passages into the engine
