cleanin out some rice when.....
well when i bought the car (99 Si) it had blue hood nozzle lights, indiglo pedals, blue underbody neons, and some indiglo gauges. well i removed everything then it came to the gauges. i guess the gauges arent that bad but i just have to have evrything match up color wise in the interior.
well anyway im almost done gettin them off when i get to the gas guage and off it pops. i tryed glueing it back together but it doesnt work
so anybody ever have to have this fixed, if so how much???
or has anybody bought an Si cluster??and would i be able to set the mileage on the cluster??
any help would be greatly appreciated

Re: cleanin out some rice when..... (SiC CiViC)
Call the dealer to check. I remember reading something about this, and I think you can just replace the fuel guage separately.
Don't think fiddling with the odometer is legal, but I am sure it can be done somehow. Luckily my cluster's mileages matches my swap within 500 miles, so I didn't have to deal with it.

Re: cleanin out some rice when..... (dynamo)
if u find a shop that specializes in odometersand tachometers, they can change the mileage to match up...(u have to have the old odometer in the car still) it cost like 50-100 with install. i had to do it when mine got stolen bc the dumbasses ripped the cluster 1/2 out and the shop never connected the odometer correctly......
good luck
