Default Civic won't start, little help

2000 Honda Civic DX SOHC

I changed the spark plugs yesterday. After I was done, fired up the car and it started fine and ran for about ten seconds then I turned it off. Later that night I went to go drive it and it wouldn't start. The starter is cranking, it just won't turn over. I checked the battery, 12.5 volts. I even tried to jump it with the prelude, still wouldn't start. The fuel filter is new (last month), so it should be getting enough fuel. Maybe the plugs arn't firing? But it started the one time......

Any ideas?

Check to see if you are getting spark.

Remove a plug from the head, put it back onto the wire, hold the ground electrode against a piece of bare metal in your engine bay (like a valve cover nut) and have someone crank the engine while you look for the spark. Make sure you hold it by the wire or something so you don't get zapped.

What plugs did you buy? You didn't change the wires or anything else, did you?

Also, check your ignitor as well. I would say that the ignitor is probably the problem.

I bought standard autolights, checked the gap before installing. Didn't replace any of the wires or anything.

Will check the distributer tonight.

Where is the ignitor?
