I got a 99 civic hatch and i bought the dual din black off plate for the climate control , now i want the civic type r cupholder but im beeing told from ICB that the ctr cup holder wont fit in the 99-00 models reason i want that specific cup holder is to mount a stereo in the the single din. Anyone ever installed that cup holder into a 99-00 ? thanks.

Plenty of people have it. I don't see why it wouldn't. It's definitely nicer than that 96-98 route.
