Civic Type-R Body Conversion Kit
Does anyone know where I can get a good quality Type-R Body Conversion kit for my 1996 Honda Civic HX Coupe? I really like the body styling and have been told that you can get it, but I can't find it.

Just go to http://www.ebay.com and type in "JDM type-R"
Should have everything you are interested in.. shift *****, shift boots, floor mats, race mufflers, hood scoops, body kits, 19" wheels, also try to get the JDM carbon fiber type-r parts.. they usually are a little cheaper and look mad tyte.

What exactly do you want from the CTR? You do know it only came in a hatchback, right? The OEM rear lip won't even fit your car.
Basically, as far as the exterior looks go, the things that are different between your car and the 6G CTR are:
- CTR is a hatch.
- Front grille
- front lip
- headlights
- Red front emblem on hood
- Red rear emblem on hatch
- Side view mirrors (same as any other JDM/EDM mirrors)
- Side markers
- Painted side skirts (same as standard Si and optional US coupe skirts)
- Only available in white, silver, yellow and black
- Antenna on right side
- Driver on right side, along with all other items which change on RHD car versus our LHD cars
- TypeR badges
- Wheels
- Ride height
- Paint matched mirrors, side molding, door handles and plate garnish
- Bronze glass (optional)
- Rear lip (only fits hatches)
- spoiler (only fits hatches)
EDIT: If you want it all 50-state legal like you said in your other thread, you won't want RHD headlights. You'll want EDM LHD headlights, which aren't gunmetal. They're clean, but they're otherwise like the CTR headlights. Oh, and most states require the front lights light or reflect amber too, so you'll need amber bulbs for hte turn signals. Same for the rear lights if you get the '99-'00 coupe taillights.

The E-codes won't technically be legal either, though their beam pattern will be much more appropriate for our roads, and a nice upgrade from the stock DOT lamps.

Yep. Factory tinted glass. Actually tinted from the factory. Not like tinted glass in the US that's "from Honda" (i.e., Honda sends your car to get tinted locally).
The actual glass is a light bronze color.
