Default Civic Sway Bar Help

So, I'm trying to add a sway bar to my civic.

I've read before, a few times, that the only difference between civic and get front lower control arms is the sway bar mount.

I got a sway bar off a teg from the junkyard and the control arms, put new bushings in it and now that I'm about to put it on I've noticed the compliance bushing mount is different.

I searched for pics of teg sway bar and the mount and I saw one with the sway mount and the same compliance mount as mine.. it's ALMOST the same, but doesn't go past half way up the bushing if that makes sense..

Am I missing something? Do I need to swap out the compliance arm part of the LCA with a different one?

Blue is the "new" one, black is off my Civic..you should be able to see the difference I mean in the first pic..

I'm guessing maybe I have to reuse the civic bracket? I didn't have any luck getting it/the bushing off plus I have new ES bushing for that spot..

So I just reviewed the service manual for 98-01 and 94 tegs, as well as 92 to 95 civic..

In all 3 the mount looks identical to the one my civic has and none look like the 'hexagonal'ish bushing I has?

Err?

So, googling...maybe the car I got the arms from had hard race compliance bushing? Did I miss a bracket piece or something because itshe aftermarket? I hope not, the car is long gone from the yard but I was sure I grabbed everything... Found this image and it's identical to the bushing I have?

So that pic, and this one, says they're from an EK.

WTF? I'm not blind or stupid, I pulled these parts off an Integra not a Civic! I didn't even go in the yard thinking about a Civic let alone looking for one nor would I have bothered with an EK..

Suspension/swap guru's please chime IN!

Just reuse your original Civic compliance bushings. Problem solved.

I could reuse the brackets and my new bushings (reusing the old bushings defeats the purpose) but I can't even get them to slide off the compliance arm.

Problem solved or not, I'm still curious too. I've heard of people putting Integra rack w sub frame on a civic due to the quicker ratio but not vice versa!

the difference is you're only switching the control arms to integra lca's so yes you're suppose to reuse the civic's compliance. Not dc2 has every been delivered from the factory with the 96-00 civic compliance.

But some are? It doesn't day this in any Honda service manual and every other Teg I've seen has been the same..

I have no problem reusing the Civic compliance bracket but one is seized on the arm..the other slid right off. Half lines up and the other half doesn't, is there a different bracket on the EK or is that just where it mounts to the sub frame?

The other frustrating part is that now I have to get these bushings out that I thought just popped out, ugh.

Any suggestions for getting the compliance bracket off? It's stuck in the sleeve, I've been hammering at it for a while and used some penetrating rust lube, it doesn't wanna move, the opposite side as I said just slid off..

Well, YUCK FOO!

I still couldn't get the sleeve off the compliance arm, even after cutting the **** out of ****.

Good news is, the bushing came right out in the process!

Still confused though, is it really true select tegs had ek compliance? Which would mean ek subframe? What about steering rack? Teg supposed to be faster, I would have not been surprised if I found this the other way around.
