My '97 Civic Coupe was stolen, driven in a short police pursuit and suffered some front end suspension damage. The car books for around $5k stock. I kept this car in perfect condition (no accidents or body work) and now it's been "tainted".

Would you keep the car not knowing what engine/transmission damage has been done? Is there any way I can request to have these areas inspected and have the insurance pay for it?

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Insurance should pay for the wreck ..

Just bring it to a body shop and have them look it over.

Take it to a mechanic that knows what he is doing and won't just tell you things are broke just so you pay him to fix it. Afterwards insurance should take care of it. Good luck
