Civic SI Problems Pt. II
My previous thread was removed so I wanted to update you all on the situation.
My car will idle at 1500 rpm's after a few minutes of driving. The gears also get really jerky.
I cleaned out the iacv, throttle body, map sensor, and the intake manifold. All of this did nothing and the car is continuing to have the same symptoms. I was with a car tech when I did this so nothign was damaged in the process.
I am thinking the best bet would be to take the car to a Honda dealer and have them take a look at it. I am not throwing a CEL so I don't know if they will be able to figure out what the problem is..
What do you all think?
Any input is appreciated!

Re: Civic SI Problems Pt. II (Archidictus)
sounds like a vacuum leak to me...check the small vacuum lines coming off the intake manifold. they tend to dry rot. you may not see the crack all the way through, but if there are any surface cracks on the hoses that may be your problem. i had the same thing happen to my Si. Good Luck!!
