Re: civic si oil help!
I can't even understand the question, let alone the problem.
You're leaking oil? Where is the oil coming from? "The oil spot by the header" is not descriptive at all. I'm thinking that you're describing a leaky valve cover gasket that is dripping oil onto the exhaust manifold, which burns the oil off causing smoke. I cannot be sure because your description is incredibly vague.
Why did you buy a car that has obviously been thrashed?

Its kind of hard to explain haha sorry.. basically i checked the oil before of course it was all empty & then i had some fully syntetic oil in my garage i just put like 2 qtz in my engine didnt do the all oil change. after that i turned on my car and the smoke came off from the spot where you check your oil with that small metal stick if i explained it right. lol here is a pic for example.. lol

Holy crap, where did you get that photo? I took that photo myself in October 2002
Is there a rubber seal on the dip stick? Is the dip stick tube leaking oil? Is the oil level up to the top dot on the stick?
It is normal to get some light smoke around that area if you allowed some to drip off of the dip stick. It should go away once the residue burns off.

do a full oil change change filters too and try not to spill anything, maybe when you took the stick out after you poured in two quarts you dropped oil on the headers
