civic si motor rebuild
What up H-T, so here is the problem. Im gonna rebuild my b16a2 cause it leaks some oil and is in need of good TLC (the guy before me ragged it out) Ok so its my daily driver but since the motor will be opened up and i didnt add any new goodies i will be kicking my self in the *** later. So what could i do to add some more power, nothing to crazy cause remember its my DD but still give it some more kick. I was thinking cams, but what else could i do. I did search but figured I would ask the experts.....thanks everyone

Re: civic si motor rebuild
new pistons are really the only thing you can modify from the inside to get "power". Rods will give you some potential in the ling run, but remember the more you do now the more it will NEED a tune. If it's a DD then just get it a new lease on life, and then get a car to build that you won't mind breaking ever once in a while. It's always a pain in the *** to build a car the "right" way, and still drive it in the meantime. GL
