calm down. Don't make yourself look stupid by proving it. I think what people are trying to get across is a lession you need to learn. It;s do it yourself, and we need more of that in this hobby, not ohh bitch and whine and please just do this for me.....

Re: Civic rear disc conversion help (menkio)
i wasnt asking anyone to DO anything, i wasnt whining, i nicely asked if anyone could give me advice on some parts i would need, since i obviously do not know, and you know what the hobby DOESNT need are ******** like yourself, theres no need to be an ***, i came to these forums to get help, not get flamed by people thinkin im an idiot cuz im a forum "noob", imo, thats more immature than me getting pissed off because of ppl's arrogance, but thank you, my lesson is learned, i either have to search and never post anything asking for advice, or just **** it and not use honda-tech as i have been misguided in thinking that this is a great forum site in which to recieve coherent and valuable information, i guess i was wrong

Wow, now I see why they have this trial stage on here...
At least I know how not to act around you guys now. But seriously, a search is the easiest way find information on a forum, and certainly a forum that is as big as this one.
It is the most annoying thing ever on AF whenever someone stumbles into my section, asking how to swap a Twin Turbo powertrain into their Non-Turbo... When it has been covered hundreds of times over, and I have a sticky for it.
Just keep that in mind whenever you ask a question... From one trail member to another

Okay, I guess I have to spoon-feed your incompetent *** with information that has been covered over and over and over again in the past. I guess 262 (!) threads and an FAQ sticky don't count for ****.

You will need:
- The brakes.
- The proportioning valve.
- Tools.
- Brake fluid.
- A bleeder monkey.
- Some free time.
Components of "the brakes" should include: Hub assemblies, rotors, pads, calipers, soft lines for rear discs, e-brake cables for '99-00 Si.
Some people choose to swap the entire trailing arms rather than just the hub assembles, but this is not necessary, especially if your existing TA bushings are still good, and you have the Torx bit to unbolt the hubs.

Classifieds, import junkyards, brand new from Honda, etc. Duh. Use your brain.

Re: Civic rear disc conversion help (menkio)
This is at the bottom of page 6 on the "Links" Sticky at the top of this forum. That Thread has some of the best info for these cars. I suggest you take a half hour to browse all 8 pages, so you will know exactly were to look for these things in the future. Disc brake swaps are the most common questions around here. Do some more research, and then post more specific questions to help yourself fill in some info gaps.
