Default Civic Question

Me and my cousin went shopping around for a car for him. He was planning on getting a used GSR, but then we saw a add in the paper for a civic, i didnt read it that well but its a 92-95 civic. It had a pic of the hood open and it had a swap, either a b16 or a b18(couldnt tell didnt say). It also said it had Good interior and original paint was still in good shape. The car is priced at $6000.00 .We called him and he said he wouldnt sell it for less then the asking price( when i called him i forgot to ask him if it was a b16 or b18, Now i cant call him till about wednesday he said he was going out of town) The guy lives about 45 min. from were we live. Is this a good deal, to high or what? We might go test drive it, in a couple a days.

How many miles did it have? Just my personal opinion, but i would stay away from civics that have already had major modifications like that unless you know what to look for. I'm not saying you should not look at any, but I would just worry about the care that went into the swap. Just becareful, that's all. The price sounds reasonable btw.

Yea dude... you dont want to get something that someone else has already driven hard and ragged out. 6k sounds a little high if its got a b16 with no mods or anything anyway...
