Default Civic Project

I need your guys opinion on this problem i am having. I am contemplating on whether or not i should do an engine swap w/ my D16y8 to either a B18c or B16a, or turbo/supercharge(which ever one is "better") the stock d16. The engine right now has pretty high mileage (86k), but it is in good condition. I was also wondering how long you guys think the engine would run w/ about 5psi or a little more (this would be for daily driving). I'm going for the cheapest thing in the long run.

Also, do any of you guys know where i can buy some cheap Si taillights?

if you just want to have fun but not really a hardcore raced out. go with a B16 andmaybe turbo. but,if you want ***** right out of the motor go with ITR or LS vtec. but, for the cheapest route is going with a b16. this is my opinion

and yes, do the swap, you will enjoy it. i had a D1.5, liked it then got the B16 ******* loved it

for the Si tails, try EBay, but it will prob be in the neighborhood of $75-100, so not that cheap, or if you have a good import junkyard near you and there is an Si that hasnt been completely picked over, try that, you could prob get them for hella cheaper.

turbo it. most bang for the buck. for around $3k you'll have 180 whp.

definitely. leave the boost at the stock psi and you shouldn't have any problems.

i had my fully built bottom end done on my b16 and it last me 2 years. My b16 lasted more then my D1.5. but if your going turbo, b16 is good, justmake sure your not high compression

Ya, you know what you're talking about!

Oh wait, you show your license plate number on your website for everyone to see.

work with the d, unless your going 300+ whp there no use for a b series swap.. other than spend a couple grand and be able to show 2 boxes of aftermarket cam gears, as you can see a boosted d series is more than enough

1) Tyler posted the second post.
2) Don't make fun of an automatic when you don't know **** even about your own car.
3) Good job on posting your license plate to the whole world.

1) You don't know anything about cars in general so don't talk.
2) So I guess when everybody else on the internet hides their plate, it is for no reason.
3) I wish people were reading this to back me up.
