Default CIVIC Parking Problem (Automatic)

I cant get my car to P (parking) and I cant get keys outta the ignition. what the heck did I do wrong?

Just a thought... maybe something fell down in there and is stopping the shifter from going all the way.

WOW! some 1 help this man..the only thing i can think of to fix ur problem is to swap a manual transmission in there tehehe..sorry!

Take out the center console - see if you can figure out why it's not clicking in. Usually it's something in the gear selector rather than inside the transmission.

or, just unplug the interlocking system at the key;

its a small 2 pin harness, at the key cylinder.

lets you park the car in neutral ^^

Christ read the damn thread. He already said twice that it was just a pen stuck in the shifter.

Thanks, Yes! it was a PEN.. car had never been modified... is my weekend NON bumpy, Non Drop ride... and for some reason (Not even my pen) got stucked there! -
