My friend's civic ex is overheating. We replaced the radiator and thermostat. What else should we check for?

Water pump? Cooling fans? Is there antifreeze in it?

was the cooling system properly bled?if not, that could be the problem.if yes, maybe a blown head gasket.

See if you bled the cooling system there might be an air bubble in there check headgasket, coolant and all other things.

as a temporary solution....put your heat on the highest setting and put the fan setting on the fastest..this will draw hot air from the engine bay. i know this won't fix the problem but if your friend has to drive the car it will help alleviate the heat.
