civic ignition switch/lock
okay for you guys who cars been stolen and recover with a broken ignition switch/lock. how do you take them out or replace them? i need help. been searching but found nothing. my civic got stolen and they broke the ignition switch lock.

if you are trying to get the 2 screws on the top off (they have a flat surface) then all you need is a flat head screwdriver and a hammer and tap the edge to loosen and then u can remove with your fingers i just did this yesterday as thieves also broke my ignition.

Take a dremil with a cut-off disk and carefully cut a straight groove/slot into the head of that shear-bolt. Use a flat head screwdriver to remove it like a regular screw. Repeat on the other shear-bolt.
