civic idle problems...
Hi, my hatch is idling about 1100 and i want it to be around 800... I'm trying to smog the car so I wanna get everything ready before then...
The motor is a jdm d15b... the car came with a z6 intake manifold, I tried to adjust the idle with the screw on the throttle body and its all the way in... and still idling at 1100ish... Today I cleaned the iacv cuz I had flux idle... and it was annoying so I cleaned that... and thats fixed but it's still idling high and I wanna know if there is any other way to lower it...
Thanks in advance for any info.

Re: civic idle problems...
There's a small bolt that sits under your throttle cable at the coil. The coil sits on it and that's where your base idle is. You tighten it, more idle, loosen, less.
Loosen the nut with the car on and loosen the bolt with an allen head. Set the idle to where you like.
