Civic HX Question
I was looking at a couple of car stats sites, and I noticed something strange about the Civic HX.....I don't know much about Hondas yet but I'm thinking about buying one. In 1996 the Civic is given 2 seperate 0-60 times....one being relatively slow, but the other being 7.9 seconds. Can anyone tell me why this is, and how to tell the 2 cars apart when looking to buy one? Thanks.

Re: Civic HX Question (RonSBG)
Actually that was my mistake, those times are actually for the EX, but the same question still applies.....did the EX have an optional CVT in 1996?

Re: Civic HX Question (RonSBG)
Just be sure that you don't want to go FI or have a 5 speed for dragging or racing cause your gonnna shoot yourself down the road if you buy and HX powered Civic. It's great on gas mileage but will cause major Mod problems down the road. IM HXman he's been thru it all.
