Default Civic HX performance stats?

I'm looking into a 98' Civic HX mainly for gas mileage. I want it all stock. However, I'm just curious how fast is it? 0-60mph time in seconds? How about 1/4 mile times? Also, what is the maximum speed that this car will achieve?

I looked up 'Albee Digital'. I couldn't find the link to 0-60 and 1/4 times. Any other suggestions? Thanks

You do realize that em1's and the new si's are virtually equal.

well iown a 97 hx with a 5 sp. all stock except for in nice weather I have 17's on it... the best gas milage I got was 42 mpg(the best I got with the stock 14" wheels was 38 mpg). I had two tanks of 40, then the rest are 34.8 or higher (depending how much I beat on it). It isn't a race car, but after 1st, it seems to get up and go decent. I can easily get over 110 in under a third of a mile but after that it climbs slow. The fastest that I wanted to take it was 118, after that I decided I better slow down before the po po saw me. One of these days I'll go faster when I don't care about mpg. for the car for an eco box!
later,
robert

no offense but i think your not doing 110 in under 1/3 mile in a stock hx. maybe a 1/2 mile or more. plus i think youd be governed at about 118-120

Uhhhh the new si's rock a k20 and lsd.

How is that going to be close to the same as an Em1?

Equal in what?

1) Totally different suspension blueprints.
2) new si's have wider/longer wheelbase
3)new si's have sharper angled windshields (Thus more aerodynamic)
4) similar weight
5) Rock k20's and LSD
6) come with exponentially better tires than em1's
7) 6 speed
