Its actually a direct fit too without changing the radiator support. But if you changed the headlight you will also need to change the hood, bumper, fenders in order for the headlight to fit or else the headlight will not fit. My own personal firsthand experience.

So yes, they won't fit, unless you change the fenders, hood, and bumper.

And the bumper will probably have troubel fitting on the core support without either cutting holes in the bumper or cutting or hammering in the corners on the core support.

If you notch the brackets it fits "well enough" and you can adjust things to get it fairly close to stock, but I still wasn't happy with the fit on my friends. Overall the way front ends fit on 96-00 civics (particularly 99-00's ) has always bothered me. I still love my civic though .

To most people it would just look like a '99-'00 front end. In photos it often shows up better looking too, but I've never seen a '99-'00 front end conversion (that I know of) that fits well.
