Default Civic headlight question...

Well, I'm about to replace the headlight bulbs in my g/f's car. AGAIN This will be the third set in about 2 years, I'm pretty sure it was due to crappy bulbs (I checked the wiring and it looks good). What brands have you guys had good luck with? Wouldn't mind having some "whiter" bulbs (not blue though). I'm thinking it was an H4 bulb, 65/55w...does that sound about right? The car is a 96 EX. TIA

i've had some cheap bluer bulbs(whitish yellow actually) and my car goes through those in a matter of months. i've since switched back to sylvania's(regular ones) and i haven't had any problems in over a year..

Glad to hear that, I just picked up some sylvainias. Hopefully they'll work a little better. Thanks

I was licking them before I installed them, is that bad?

Naw, I was careful not to touch the glass.
