Civic Hatch Targa Top
Has anyone ever installed a Targa Top on their civic hatch?
I love targa tops... and i love my hatch, am i crazy for thinking about having it done to my EK?

Also, even stock Honda del Sol tops are known for leaking (at least the earlier ones). I imagine there is a fairly high chance that if you do this the car will not be a car you should drive in rain.
You also have to think about how you're going to get seals for the roof to begin with. del Sol seals are something like $500-700 for the set and they won't even fit a 6G, I don't imagine.
The hatch roof seems thin for a targa top too. It will probably flex when you take it off unless you put framing under it. The cloth headliner should also probably be removed and replaced with something that will be more durable. Plus there isn't really any storage for it (del Sols have a special tray that locks it in place).
Honestly, I'd have to say that the body lines of the 6G Civic hatchback will not lend well to a targa top.
