Are civic front seat rails swappable with either side ?
Hi guys n girls - quick question regarding OEM EG seats + rails.
Are the rails swappable ? That is , either front seat can fit on either rail yeah ? thanks Ben |
well the bracket that bolts to the car its self is not swapable cause then your seatbelt would not be mounted right. but you can swap the rails that mount to the seat its self.

Yes - just to clarify again - the rails ofcourse I want to keep on the right sides, its the seats I am askking, whether they are exactly the same ? ( can be used with either left or right rail set) ? thanks ! |
Re: (bennjamin@ozhonda.com)
seems to me, your seatbeltclip is attached to your seatmechanism, so, you cant change the entire seat, what you could do, is take the seat apart, and change the bottom, and backrest from left to right...
i think your seats are just worn out right? you can exchange rails, that won't matter, they are all the same... you can't exchange seatmechanism from left to right, because of your seatbeltclip... goodluck https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif |

So i want to swap them https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif Ive had a good look , and ofcourse the rails seem to bolt on either side as the dimensiosn are pretty much equal. Bah its only stock seats - thanks all ! |
