civic ex stock intake questions
Hey Everyone,
This should be a pretty easy questions to answer, I tried a search for it but didn't come up with anything. I have a 98 civic ex and am looking for a stock intake to replace the one I currently have. I was going to buy a stock air box off of a 94 civic ex from ebay, but I didn't know if it would fit my car. Would anyone happen to know if the 94 would go into my 98? Thanks for your help! |
Re: civic ex stock intake questions (zerozen)
uuummm I highly doubt it seeing how the 98 went through major changes in body style as well engine. I just have to say one thing...junkyards are your friend....you can find almost anything there for cheap. plus its more reliable than e-bay https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emwink.gif https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

Re: civic ex stock intake questions (wushubrian)
I have a cheap $30 intake right now, but it sucks terribly. I've checked and doulble checked it a million times, and it still has this super high pitched whistle sound when I'm driving half throttle. I would like to get an aem cai, but I don't have the money for that right now. I'm planning to sell the car anyway, so I was going to return everything to stock.
I'll check out some junk yards and see if I can find anything. Thanks! |
