I have seen 96 EK's going for that price. It is an EX and as long as all the motors/locks are working thats not bad. How is the paint/body? Have you checked KBB in your area to see what the "private party" price is going for?

For a 96, with v-tech, I'd say it'll go till about 120k. 97's generally go till about 150k though.

I would definitely talk him down or if he wont go with all you listed on tell him to keep the 18's and the body kit then go find yourself some steelies for cheap and used bumpers

Uhh yeah, no.... talk him down into bringing the price down. I paid $3800 for my 97 Ex coupe and I still think I payed too much lol. (compared to other dealerships it seems low though) I was looking at a 2000 Ex coupe for $5000! seriously talk him down, way him in on the downs of the car (with the amount of mileage in that engine... I'd say you would be paying to much for the car) if It was a 2000 I would understand. (and the 2000 I was looking at had 76k!) nough said.

(My Ex Coupe had 117k when I purchased it, it now has 119k)

I think you payed a bit to much for that. but thats fine, was it your first car? Mine was. I think I got a pretty darn good deal. (and it came with a Sony 10 disc changer)

the engine will last you up to thr 200k mark if you treated like a baby from now on. Though I wouldn't recommend buying that car at that price even if it was at $4500. Like I said... I bought my 97 EX for $3800 109k and a SONY 10 disc changer. lol.

If you are digging the car a lot go for it, but I would search some more, if not get that price down! the guy or woman trying to hustle you is doing a fine job so far lol.
