Civic EX 2000
Does anyone know roughly what the 0-60 time is for a Civic EX unmodified . I have a AEM CAI , Exhaust . Not many mods but its a start . Any suggestions on anything else that might provide some descent power or shorten my 0-60 time . I don't want to spend too much money cuz the car is gonna be traded in a year .

Re: Civic EX 2000 (you2envious)
At best, it would be a mid 16sec. I would say the average is more in the upper 16 to low 17 though. BTW, I've tried the I/H/E thing with the d16y8 and to be honest it is a complete waste of money for quicker times. Go for a B18c swap or turbo and save yourself the headache.

The stock 0-60 is about 8.5 give or take. I would suggest getting a header - and keeping your stock one to swap back on when you turn it back in. That way you can use it on your next car - or sell it. Also, I would suggest a short shifter - that made a fair amount of difference in the 0-60, is cheap, and very easy to install.
