Default Civic EX

I'm new to the civic thing...I've always hated civics b/c everyone has them, but now I'm considering an 92-95 ex, b/c of the gas milage/price/reliability. I have also heard that that sohc vtec is a really good engine to mod, for starters that is. I'm probably going to bo turbo, and I'm looking for the most speed for the money (I want to put the turbo in for sub 2500 over the summer). Do you guys think I should get a civic now, and turbo it this summer, or wait and get a 4th gen lude s or si? (For those of you who dont know, the s has an sohc 2.2 and makes 135hp, and the si has a 2.3 dohc and makes 160 hp. ) Will I be albe to make that civic go...without spending too much? Any advice would help...TIA.

Default Re: Civic EX (styler7)

For the hp from those ludes they gonna be pretty slow, just spend the extra money and get an Engine Swap for a 92-95 civic, unless you get a d16z6 with low miles that can handle a turbo w/o much mods to the engine (eg. pistons and plugs). IMO.
