Civic Engine swap
Hi m doing some research for a friend and i need to know what engines can fit into a 93ish Civic. He needs to replace the engine because the block is cracked and he doesn't want to spend a lot because he's going to sell the car at the end of the summer.

Re: Civic Engine swap (Hans5849)
well, make sure the engine is 93 and up, because you CAN NOT swap an OLDER engine into your car. Anything can fit in that civic. D15's, D16z6, B16's, B18's are all direct swaps. If he is looking for something cheap, just try and find a D15b7. I bought mine for $100 and it doesnt leak or burn oil and passed smog with flying colors last month with 260,000miles. Don't worry, you will find a good engine for it.
