Try doing all your suspension work now so you have the proper ride handling for the swap. You do the swap with no sus. fun you will no have.

Why are you gonna waste money on fixing up the engine you KNOW you are gonna swap out later? Im just wondering, but it doesn't sound like a good business decision from my eyes I would just put that $500 towards suspension or your swap.

YUP!! NO USE in spending money on your motor if you are going to swap it.

if your going to exchange the motor, and you want power. I would invest in a Nitrous system. Cheap way to bolt on a good amount of horses, especially if your not long term with the motor. Then afterwards, you can either sell the kit, or slap in on the new motor.
Or if you haven't already, get a nice suspension setup.
