I have a 94 civic Dx with a d15 engine. The car is new to me because of insurance issues. I had a 99 GSR, but forced to sell it. I would like to turbo the civic. I was planning on keeping it very low key (no rims or anything flashy). I need to know if i should turbo the d15 or swap a d16 vtec motor into it. I would turbo either one, but i just need to know if i should deal with the swap or use the potential of the d15. I work at a small honda shop and i have tools and equipment to do the swap and engine work. I also have a spare d15 and d16 engines that i can use. Im looking around 200-250 hp.

My only concern is the d16 swap with the wiring. Would i need to rewire everything or just the major engine componets?
