Im sure there are threads like this, but I need to replace my radio/heater control dash bezel on 92-95 civics. I have heard it is a pain to replace, and I was wondering if it would be easier to pull my whole dash, rather than pull a few panels and try to work backwards. Thanks in advance

I Havnt pulled either of those things off yet

but its a greater risk taking and old dash off you may break some mounts and what not removing it

I would try and pull the heater control / radio parts first and if it still dont come out pull / loosen the other parts to get it off

I'm assuming you want to replace the "grey" trim piece that wraps all the way to the left side of the steering wheel. That piece is held together from the back. Don't try to pry it apart or you will mess it up.

Pull the dash. That step is actually quite easy. But, getting that trim thing off is a bloody royal pain in the ****. You'll want the dash off.

I completely ruined a dash at a junkyard the first time I tried getting this off.
the second time I got it off alright. and the third time was on my own car, didn't remove the dash.

not trying to go off topic, but do any of you know how to take off the dash pannel on a 98 civic? i have heard that it was only 4 screws, but i have not been able to find a diagram online. i need to replace one of my climate control lights.

kind of funny how i looked forever and couldnt find it. looked after i posted this and found a site called installldr.com, not for the climate control...but it tells me how to take off the bezel!
