civic d16z6 k26 turbocharge smoke???????????
hi i have a k26 turbo in my car which is a a civic with d16z6 and it has oil on the downpipe exhaust.....i was wondering if you guys can help out......maybe a turbo seal or something...ohh yeah i have smoke at my exhaust too....when i'm at moving speed n at like 3 thousand rpms there is no smoke but if at normal idle it smokes kind of alot...please u guys help me think of wat it might be thank you

if oil is visible then its very likely that the turbo seals took a **** on you. my friend has had many go on his various turbo engines. If you actually see pools of oil its pretty much a dead giveaway, because if there was that much oil puking out of your engine, it would be a paper weight by now

well it's actually not having pools of oil it just smokes throught the exhaust and has like some oil on the down pipe where it connects to the turbo....so it might be a turbo seal leak???

take the turbo off and run without it, did you buy it boosted or did you do the build?
if you did the build yourself you should still have the stock manifold , switch out the turbo and see if she smokes anymore.
if there was oil leaking from the cartrage the turbo would have seized.

it's off from an audi turbocharged.....it's stock boost....n before i put in the turbo it dosen't smoke but it started whe i put in the turbo....oil is from the part whea turbo n down pipe connects... so i don't knoebut boost kicks tho....n i have a check engine turn on when i floor it to like 5-6 thousand rpms ...
