civic CARB approved intake in my integra
i have no idea where to put this, but i have a AEM intake, that is CARB approved for a 88-91 civic with a d16, well my teg has a d16 also, so im wondering if having the 88-91 sticker in there will be cool or not? this **** is gay. do you guys think ill pass or not? the sticker was good enough for a cop that instected me. cali almost makes moding cars not worth it

what are u trying to pass? if its a regular smog check, they wont run the carb #. if its a test only or ref, they will check the applications that are covered with the number. post the carb EO and i can look it up on the CARB website.
i dont think the teg d16 (twin cam rite?) is the same as the civic d16.... but then again, my AEM SRI has 2 carb #'s on it, good for both d16 civics, and b16 del sols

Re: (dantastic)
All depends on the company that made the intake pipe and had the CARB sticker issued. If you look at all B-series DC headers (whether it's 90-91 Integra, 93-97 Del Sol, 94+ GSR), they all have the same EO number on them. I've seen the same for most intakes as well but some companies have engine-specific EO numbers so you have to watch out for that. But for the most part, if the smog tech (not ref) see's a CARB sticker on the intake, he'll let it pass.

im pretty sure its specific for the 88-91 civic si (d16a6, i got a d16a1 dammit)... but yeah. regular smog is all im concerned about. i dont have to go to a test only station as far as im aware, and i dont need to be inspected by a ref.
