civic a/c question
i bought a 95 ex evaporator unit, and i bought 94 evaporator lines from a civic hatchback, i dont know the model... the lines do not fit into the evaporator? any idea why? i know the evaporator lines are from a 134a system. but im not sure about the evaporator unit...would 95 ex a/c systems be r12? cause arent 94 and ups r134a? basically i have the whole r12 system in my 93 hatch except for the evaporator unit and the evaporator lines. i need to know which ones i need to buy, because i have both the lines and the unit, but they dont fit. so if i buy an r12 evap unit, will the lines fit, or should i buy r12 lines and hope they fit in the unit or just buy both together?

Re: civic a/c question (r3sgtec)
I would have to see what you are dealing with, but I can tell you this, You are better off retrofitting the whole system, because it will be difficult to find r12, and you can't fill an r12 system with r134 because they make the fittings different. In short use all r134 equipment or you will have a hell of a time getting it filled.

Re: civic a/c question (hplssone)
i know, retor fitting is easy, i just dont know why the pipes arent fitting assuming they are both r134a.
