Civic A/C problems
I've got a 98 civic that I recently put a can of freon/oil into because it was running low. for about two days it was perfect. a/c was cold and it didn't take very long to get there.
now it's acting weird. the a/c's blowing about 70 degrees and the clutch on the compressor kicks on and off every 2 seconds. the low pressure pipe is cold, but not incredibly freezing. the a/c condensor fan seems to be working properly too.
i thought i sprang a leak, but the compressor should just stay off then, right? is it possible i have a blockage somewhere and my freon's not flowing properly?
what can I do to narrow down my problem? cost is an option too since i'm pretty broke.

Re: Civic A/C problems (einzelherz)
Im no a/c expert but I would say if the clutch is turning off and on every two seconds there is a problem. Doesn't really seem to be with the freon/system, I would check the voltage going to the compressor and see if it drops every two seconds. Compressor could just be going out. good luck
