my 93 civic cx still wont start. everything is in, getting spark i believe i have plenty of fuel. im running a b16a1 with the obd1 dist off a del sol dohc vtec, injectors from a 94 integra gsr, wiring harness off my cx with all wiring done (ie>4 wire o2 sensor, vtec, vtec sending unit) cable to hydro conversion from hasport, chipped p28 ecu. all new grounds with 4 gauge braided wire. anyone help me please!!!!!! turns over just does not start. ive tried everything i can think of. timing is right played with dist. checked wiring 2 times, checked timing again, turned up fuel pressure.

You need four things for a engine to start: Compression, timing, spark, and fuel. If you have three and not four, that your problem.

Definetly. I swapped my clutch out a couple of months ago and one day it couldn't start...I didn't tighten the tranny ground tight enough It's was on snug, but not snug enough...

check your distributor and see if you put it on right... sometimes you put it in on accident with the wrong side up, the lil thing that goes into the cam.. if that odesnt workcheck the cap and rotor.or try a different distributor... check all yor ecu plugs and see if you plugged them all in...

Re: (Import Life)
it possible could be the ground wire on the tranny, if not check the ground for the temp sensor connected on the thermostat cover....
when we tried to start my motor the first time, it ddidnt start, i thought it was because i had a modified ls dist, i swaped in a gsr but it still didnt fire... turns out it was my injectors....

Re: civic with b16a still wont start (nosepkr)
have all new grounds on both tranny and engine harness, double checked all pins and plugs on ecu, my dist is off a b16a2 and is on the right way. my timing belt i just checked and is still in the the right place. my injectors are flowing like the nile. maybe i am running 100psi of fuel. dont know cause fuel pressure gauge on regulator is broken, so im taking a guess that its right. any other thoughts ?????????

I would say you slipped a tooth or two on your timing belt??
Nobody mentioned this but is your starter hooked up right? Is your starter working? Maybe your battery is bad, not getting enough power to turn over??
