Civic axle/wheel problems, please help...
HI, Ihave a 92 civic cx with a jdm b16a swap, professionally installed, I also have ground control coilovers with kyb adjustable shocks. My car handled great until recently...When I take a hard right hand turn, my wheel feels as if it is going to fall off! I have brought it to my local mechanic and he replaced the axle but the problem is still there, so we put the old(GSR) axle back in. He thinks that I might need a longer passenger side axle, Could this be possible? I really need some advice, the wheel bearings and everything underneath is tight, so what could it be? He thinks it has to do with the swap, and the geometry of the car being messed up. I have no idea, but just taking lefts is getting old. Thanks a lot!

GS-R axles are just fine - if they're 1994-up.
Try tightening the axle nut. It's the big-*** 32mm nut on the end. If it's loose it will make the wheel wobble.
If it's tight but the wheel still feels awkward, then you may have a bad wheel bearing

Jack the car up off the front wheel. Grab the wheel and pull on it. If you feel some slop in the tire it might be your wheel bearings

i had noticed something similar with my 1994 civic dx. I recently attended the 4th annual meet this year in Utica, IL.. and gosh, the way out it was riding so beautifully and i went to take it around on the cruise, hit a pretty tight turn at 45 and it suddenly started wobbling and the wheel was jerkin--(i had this problem before, but it was an imbalance and discount tire was able to fix that)--i dont know really what to do...
I, again took it into discount, they rebalanced them.. was riding great again. I was able to get around and get stuff for school done... then when i went to go home to bryon, jumping on I-90... it started up... i was like what the heck??!
if anyone can possibly help it would be great.
nothing like bein a starving college student tryin to fix her one and only car.. LOL. ah well.
