Hey guys i just picked up a 97 civic hatchback that has an auto tranny. I was wondering if you all think its even worth modifying because its an auto. If you guys think it would be worth it, then how hard/how much would it cost to convert it to a manual? very dumb question i have to admit but i was just wondering. Thanks

Just convert it to a 5spd. Its so worth doing. I just finished mine like a month ago. Took me a few days cause of work and 4th of july. Not hard at all either. Just have a buddy there to help. I think i spent around $400 on everything.

Thanks dude, awesome if you dont mind me asking where did you get your manual tranny? I was thinking about heading to a junk yard or something and trying to grab one off a wrecked car.

In dallas,tx for right now. how much would you be lookin to sell them for? also do you have any of the other parts i would need for the conversion?

The only thing I would do is suspension things, there isn't any point to do upgrades to the engine.
My car is auto as well. Lower it and throw some sway bars in, that's what I did and all im doing untill 5spd convo

all i have is the transmissions and ill sell two for 75 each. gotta keep on of them
