Default civic or accord?

BOTH ARE COUPES...
im 16, my uncle is going to an auction this week. I have to get a car, and it must be a honda. (its all they have)...
i was thinking iether the accord coupe 98 + or a prelude, but the insurance is too high... and then i looked at the 2002 civic. I must admit, the coupe looks really good. BOTH ARE MANUAL TRANSMISSION
so.... its iether a civic, stick 01...............or a 98 accord stick
mileage will range between the price of about 7-10,000 $...

what do you guys think?

What are you trying to do with the car?
I'd get the Accord Coupe as they are fairly uncommon.

Get Civic if you want more attentions!! and less insurance cost too, but more chance of getting stolen.
I used to own a few Accord and they are not as fun to drive as Civic,..uless you swap to h22 motor!! still--- less attention, more insurance cost...a family coupe!!

I vote Civic. You know you'll want to do a K swap.

You should not get either one!!
Get a 92-95 EG instead, they're cheap and lighter weight, cost less to built too!

If you keeping it stock why not, I'll take the accord. If you plan to mod the hell out then get the civic.
Insurance's gonna kill you for the accord!!

You've posted 3 times in the same topic. And they all mean the same thing in different wording.

Argh, anyways, get the civic. You don't want to go to school in an accord.

THis doesnt make sense. If the accord is a faster car, wouldnt That be the better car to mod? Not a lot of mods. Some bolt on, i/h/e...
and 17" gunmetal rims...
dont tell that wouldnt look nice on an accord 98 coupe

If you've got the money and don't want to make a racecar I say ****** the Accord up. They are nicer and I personally love my moms 00 V6.

if u wanna do a lot to ur car, get the civic, otherwise, if you're just gonna dump it, put rims, and exhaust, get the accord. both nice cars though

if you want it to be fast, dont get the accord. but i gotta say the 98+ v6 coupe accords are nice. my step mom has one. we put on an aem intake and a apexi WS exhaust, lowered it on progress springs and tokico hp's. its a nice all around car but it is still slow. im guessing it wouldnt break into the 15's at the dragstrip.

oh but the v6's only came in an auto so if you are getting a stick it will be the 4 cyl and you will be even slower.
