in most of the U.S., red lights are only allowed in the rear of a car for brake lights and marker lights. Amber and red are allowed in the rear for turn signals. Amber is only allowed in the front turn signals. Headlights have to be white and fogs/city lights can be white or yellow. Also, there must be a reflector in the front side that reflects amber and in the back, it must reflect red.

unless its night time and you don't have any other lights on, you won't get pulled over for city lights in white or yellow. Many cars have them incorporated from the factory now....you'll be fine if you remember the above.

i duno exactly what citylights do,
but if theymake your headlight all yellowish/orange like in that pic 1post up,
then yeah you could get pulled over.

headlight modifications are the biggie on getting pulled over.

you can get away with light blueish tint ones ,because it lookds lik HID's that they're putting on production cars nowadays.

but a dark *** yellow like that one above is a bit sketchy.

I don't think amber city lights are a problem. As long as you don't forget to turn your headlights on it shouldnt be a big deal. Save 'em for parking lots or something.

I got a big azz ticket for having red lights in the front. The cop said any color but amber was illegal. He said it was immitating an emergency vehicle.

city lights are legal. most of if not all the lexu's now-a-days have them standard. You are not allowed to legaly have any emergency colored lights as working lights. some states have different laws but for the most part this is true. red and blue are usually the ones that get attention. Check the local laws to clarify. Dont let the cop tell you what is illegal, find out for yourself. I have been there.

Most states I've researched the front reflector applies only to vehicles greater than X amount wide. (Duallies, High cube vans etc...)

But yeah, red, green, blue, purple...etc...any of those ghey christmas tree color lights and you are just asking for unwanted cop attention.

Amber you can usually get away with.

That's probably because they know that HIDs are a BIG stolen item. If they don't belong on your car, than first assumtion may be that they are stolen.
