You have to dremel a hole in the reflector, and it's really easy to expletive up and crack the chrome.

You can install city lights in your existing housings either using a kit (you can find them on eBay) or by opening the housings and custom fitting them into the reflectors.

The kit installs through the bulb opening, so there really isn't any flexibility with that setup. As for custom installing your own, you want to position the city light bulb so that it illuminates the reflector as fully as possible.

do keep in mind that the jdm headlights have the 'flare' in the beam pattern pointing the wrong way-- into oncoming traffic. It is perceived as horrible glare. Thats why us market headlights' beam patterns have the flare to the right to light up signs and pedestrians.
