I haven't seen a 194 bulb as a Silver Star.

He's asking about city light bulbs, not headlights. While a headlight bulb with a blue tint on the exterior might give out a white light, a tinted 194 bulb would be the color of the tint.

Well, how well can you see your headlights if your low beams are on in the daylight?

Eran used normal bulbs (IIRC) and his show up fine in daylight.

Are you looking at them from above or from the level of another driver?

I can see Eran's just fine. That s, as long as I'm in another car or at a similar height. Standing next to the car you can't see it of course.

The safest bet is to go with white or yellow. These are less likely to get you in trouble from police, though some cops will not like deep yellow. The law is usually something along the lines of headlights being allowed to be white or shades of yellow (like stock bulbs). Green, blue and red (and strobe) are considered colors for emergency vehicles.

for PIAA xtreme white wedge bulb, i mean you cannot see it at all in the daytime even staring straight at it. i tried it today and i could not even tell if its on or not. But at night and same view it looks great. However, i find that the stock clear (yellow light projection) is visible during the day and night.
